Kit that suits a set
The North East doubles for everywhere, and its best locations are reliably the ones with no facilities: moorland, beaches, industrial heritage, farmland. A self-contained welfare unit gives cast and crew toilets, hot water, heat and a dry canteen anywhere a vehicle can reach, with two details that matter on location: the generator is super-silenced with Ecosmart demand management, so it is not the noise floor of your recordings, and every unit tows, so when the schedule moves, the welfare moves the same morning.
For location managers
- Towed in and working within minutes of arrival, useful when access to a location is granted for hours, not days
- 16ft and 20ft units carry a separate office: production space at the unit base without another vehicle
- Serviced through the hire on your schedule, including around shoot days
- Starlink wifi add-on for connectivity at locations with no signal, dailies, comms, the lot
- Short hires welcome: weekly terms, no minimum-term nonsense, collected on a message when you wrap
The practical bit
Send the location postcode (or what3words if it is that kind of location), crew size and dates, and flag access: gateways, ground, permits. A fixed price comes back the same working day. Based in Durham, covering the whole region: coverage here.
