Welfare hire, done properly
BOXD Hire does one thing: portable welfare unit hire across North East England, from our base at Durham Workspace, Abbey Rd in Pity Me, Durham. 12ft, 16ft and 20ft towable eco welfare units, delivered to construction sites, groundworks, utilities jobs and events from Northumberland down to Teesside.
We are North East based and North East only, on purpose. Short runs mean next working day delivery on most postcodes, a driver who knows where your site actually is, and a local team on the end of a problem rather than a national call centre queue.
How we operate
- Fixed weekly pricing. Delivery, servicing and collection agreed up front. The price we quote is the price you pay.
- Same-day quotes. Send a postcode, crew size and hire length; a fixed price comes back the same working day.
- Weekly hire, no minimum term nonsense. Two weeks or two years, one message and we collect when you are done.
- Serviced through the hire. Waste and servicing are handled for the duration. Your crew uses the unit; we look after it.
The kit
Every unit in the fleet is built from high strength composite panels with security deadlocked doors, fully self-contained with onboard water and sealed waste, and powered by an efficient generator with Ecosmart management that runs it only when needed. Each one covers the welfare provisions required under CDM 2015: toilet, hot water hand wash, canteen, and somewhere to dry off.
